Unity and Version Control
Unity is re-evaluating information for hours every time version control is used to revert changes. Only one user on one machine is using a version control. How can I avoid re-evaluation?
EDIT: Lesson learned. Including an entire project content (including Library folder) for version control helps avoiding re-evaluation on revert. Relocating root folder is not recommended.
After revert, are you removing the temp/library folders? Are those being committed to your subversion server(which you indicated this is SVN as version control in your previous post attempt). Unity will need to compile/serialize information contained in your project, again are you cleaning out folder that may require re-evaluation again newer information? I'm purposely being light on ter$$anonymous$$ology here.
