Is it my code or the new patch for unit? (CSharp) So much Null :(
Ok so here is my problem, as of 5.3.1p1 from 5.2 I am getting a lot of console errors reporting this wonderful error that a I am missing a reff.
And I double, no Triple checked everything,
I have a stat script that embeds its self to a database, then I have a Game manager that grabs the- Actually as I was typing this out I tried a little fix and it worked :O but I still have a few other nulls to sort out.
The fix was simple changing my main script the "GameMAnager" execution order in the project setting from -500 to -5000 lol and I guess that worked even though it was already ahead of every other script. Why did this work? Is that stating to start 5000ms before the other scripts and that the engine just didn't have enough time to finish the Start() for the gamemanager causing some nulls? or uhh?
can anyone provide me with some info on script execution orders to make sure this doesn't happen again? I assumed having one main script so all the sorting ahead of every other script would be enough to make everything gather references in a stable matter.
