How to add a snare/root effect on collision?
Hello,
After going through the forums and other resources to find a definitive awnser. I decided to instead ask here (First)
In a nutshell, I am trying to write a script for an ice spell that is an AoE (Area of effect). On Trigger/Collision enter or Collision I want the AI to freeze in place and Wait For a few Seconds until the spell effect would wear off. I am also not sure how I would go about "painting" an ice effect onto the AI's model for the duration, would it have to be a child of the model that just listens for the collision to occur? any help or at the very least a point in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. I have been learning slowly but surely all that is Unity day in and day out but I appear to be stuck on this one.
