Events not working when UI y rotation is not 0

Hello there

I've been trying to run some code when the mouse is over a UI Image but I cant get it to work..

The only way for it to work is if I set the y rotation of the Image's Rect Transform to 0 (when i want it at -180) Seems like events dont work in a fully rotated UI element

Any tricks to solve that?
