Game working perfectly in editor but not in build?
I tested my game in the editor and the scripts work fine. But after I build the game and import it into my Android device, some of the scripts do not even work. I've looked at solutions and they all say to check "output_log.txt" that should be located in the [mygamename]_Data folder. However, after I build my game, I can't find the [mygamename]_Data folder. The folder where the build is located only has the .apk file and that's it. There's nothing else there.
I'm not sure what all the solutions you've been reading are, but they're all wrong. For Android debugging, you should be using logcat. There's plenty of documentation about - here's one start guide: http://forum.unity3d.com/threads/any-tips-for-debugging-android.70197/
That's precisely why you need logcat - so that you do have an idea what's going on. It's very hard to solve a problem until you know what the problem is...
