Player's collider not detecting hits from animated enemy
Hello all,
I have a project that I'm working on for my students and I can't seem to get something to work. I have a player prefab with a collider attached to it, and an animated enemy skeleton that swings a sword. I have a capsule collider on one of the enemy's bones and it is animating properly and following the motion of the sword, but no collision is ever detected when the enemy swings trough the player. I've tried making the player and enemy colliders into triggers and used OnTriggerEnter, and still no luck. I put a cube in the game with a rigidbody and let it drop on the player and that collision / trigger was detected. So it's got to be something about the enemy's animation?? I've looked at it in scene mode while playing and all the colliders are there, and penetrating.
FYI This is a project that is being built for android and is being published for the oculus go. Not sure if that would have an impact. It's also strange because my player has a crossbow, and shoots an arrow prefab, that totally works fine and can destroy the enemy. So why no collisions on my player???
Thank you in advance for anyone who offers to help!!
