Collisions and ejection without physics etc.
My game is an arcade type game with no need for advanced physics and whatnot and I move everything manually by changing the position/localPosition of transforms such that I have full control over everything. I want certain things to not go through other things however such as monsters. It seems that two kinematic bodies cannot collide together because OnCollisionEnter is never called, so that is not an option.
So is there a simple way to just eject things out of other things using built-in unity collision stuff?
There is non "built-in unity collision stuff". Its all handled internally by PhysX. There is no way using it diffrent, then designed. If you want custom collisions, then make them by your self.
