Can't find XR in UnityEngine(missing package import) -- UnityEngine.VR not updated

I imported a package to a new unity project which uses SteamVR. but the script inside SteamVR　can't find the UnityEngine.XR, instead I have UnityEngine.VR. How can I update UnityEngine.VR to XR? I am a newcomer to Unity and I am not sure what to do...thanks!
