import scene from 3DS max to unity
hello Evry body, i have received my underwater scene made with 3ds max and i tested it, it wokrs fine. my probleme is when i want to export it as an fbx file for unity. my fish is not animated and the underwater effect is not there(which is the most important) any one have a clue on how to do that? thank you
unity 3.5.7 3dsmax 2013
are the animations not there or they wont play? if you dont see them you should check your fbx exporter settings.
hey i figured out how to import the animation like you suggested ! my problem now is the scene(underwater effect)
Did you use anything fancy? Any 3rd-party $$anonymous$$ax add-ons? You need to stick to the very basics, and add fancy stuff in Unity.
no i didn't, it's pretty basic in here, camera, volumetric light, the fish and its animation

The Volumetric Light sounds like your problem... Unity has a shader for that, try it. XP
thanx for the hint, i didn't read the warning of the fbx converter : the water texture are not handled by other application, only by 3dsmax. about the volumetric light could you give me more details, i'm totaly new to this concept thank you
