How do I emulate the screen-display process of a CRT TV ?
I have been struggling for a while now to achieve this and would be so grateful if someone can please help me with this. By the screening process, I mean - the way a screen is displayed in a CRT TV i.e. scanning line-by-line from top to bottom.
So this is how a screen is constructed - https://youtu.be/3BJU2drrtCM?t=85 (Time Stamp 1: 25 - 4: 07)
Now I am just trying to emulate that process of screen construction. If the object moves from top to bottom at normal speed, this motion will be clearly seen by our eyes. Now I wish to speed up this process such that it appears like there is no motion of top to bottom is going on but it'll look like there's a normal full screen is visible - how actually appears to us when we see the TV, But in the background, the screen construction process is repeatedly going on.
So, finally I wish to see a clear screen without any blinking and this will be achieved only when I can keep that motion going at a higher speed.
Final Output - Because of this process, when we try to capture a video of a CRT TV we can see flickers & the black rolls. This is exactly what I wish to achieve - the flickers should only be visible when seen through my Camera device. But if seen with our naked eyes - it should have no flickers and only clear screen.
(I tried two ways : Animation and Particle System : In both the approaches I am not able to attain the speed to get a clear screen) Also, please note the various assets available on the asset store are using shaders to give the effect of a CRT TV, which is not my goal - rather I want to achieve the actual process.
