Applying tint to a Textured Material?
Hello!
I'm currently trying to apply a tint to a textured material as an "onHit" effect via script. I want to do this in a dynamic way, so that every new material I create can have this effect.
Unfortunately I have run into problems trying to do this. Simply accessing the base-color and changing it to red only multiplies it with the texture when I need to additively combine it instead. I cannot seem to overwrite this logic.
I can create a shadergraph with an exposed "tint" paramter to achieve the desired result but this would mean I need to create this shader function for every new material again.
Does anyone have an idea how to approach this?
