How do you edit the assets in an asset bundle?
I have a game that I like, but some of the character models are inappropriate. I'd like to replace the inappropriate models with more appropriate models, and if the game files were set up differently it would be easy. If all the character models were in a folder, I would just make a copy of the modest model and rename it the name of the immodest model, so that when the game's script calls on the immodest model, it pulls up the modest model. But they're not in a folder. They're in an asset bundle. Is it possible to unpack an asset bundle or otherwise change its contents? Thanks!
It depends on how the bundle was built, sadly it also requires you to really have the code that built the bundle in the first place. I guess it might be possible to hack it, but that's not a workflow I've ever needed.
It would be easy for the developer to make matching bundles with the appropriate models incorporated in one set. Less easy if you don't have them all to start with.
