Question is off-topic or not relevant
does the difference of Unity 5 pro and Unity(not pro) might be the reason why Im getting an error?
Hey, I got a unity package from my boss now whom I think has a pro version of Unity( don't know for sure though since I have yet to ask him. but come on, his a boss he probably has a unity pro..probably.) it seems when I open it up on my unity(not pro) it got an error and so I can't play it. his project seems more high tech since his project is a 3D VR/Occulus and again I don't know for sure if its from a pro or not. but now in conclusion is it possible to have an error because I'm not using pro and my boss probably is using a pro one.
Unity license does not allow a project to be shared between Pro and Free versions of Unity, so if your boss does have Pro, you also need it to work on the project. Also, please post the error. We can't really help if we don't know what's wrong, it could be something simple.

1) There is no difference in editor functionality between Unity 5 Pro and Personal Editions.
2) As @OncaLupe pointed out, you can't share Personal and Pro so you're currently in breach of the licence terms. If your boss has a Pro licence, you and all of your team needs one too.
3) There is nowhere near enough information to help you. What package? What error?
