Homing missile locking system using Rect (or a wide UI crosshair)
The reason I do not wish to use raycast is because I would like to implement the game on mobile for google cardboard and raycast is a bit heavy (or so I heard), also it is just a point on the screen where as I want an area on the screen.
So far I have been able to make the crosshair (as sprite), missile path, missile timer (with UI) and a Rect on screen. However, i have no idea how to make the rect recognize a gameobject that is in the same screen space area. Also, the targets will be moving so any vectors would need to be updated (right?).
