Question by jabirmoolur · May 08, 2016 at 12:04 PM · physics2dcollider2dphysicmaterial

Physics without rigid body- bouncing effect to collider on hit

I have floor whic is moving little bit up when player hits it from under the floor.

currently i managing this with Animation and triggers (Floor is not rigid body but has collier attached to it, did not make collider because other wise it will fall because of gravity)

now i wan to make it bouncing effects (moving bit up based on angle force from bottm and bring back to same position) and dispalce the objects on top based on force and angle of hit from bottom with real physics and angle.

all floors shoudl be freely hanging without gravity

Below is the sketch of which i want to say

Thanks in advance

player hit

I don't follow what you want but you should not move static colliders. Really, just add a Rigidbody2D that's set to be $$anonymous$$inematic which is exactly what this is designed for. $$anonymous$$inematic are not affected by gravity or forces.

Thanbks $$anonymous$$elvmay for responce. Thanks a lot. So With $$anonymous$$inematic object will be moved based on force and angle?

It won't respond to forces or collisions but you can set its velocity or position it anywhere. Just give it a try.
