Center character controller and stop animations from reverting a model?
I'm trying to add a CharacterController to an object (currently Ethan from the Standard Assets) and for some reason whenever I do the collider gets added far away from the object, which has the effect of also moving the gizmos away in pivot mode. I've got another object with a CharacterController, also using Ethan, and it works fine, but doesn't work on the first object even when I copy/paste the component. Does anyone know what's going on?
Additionally, and perhaps even more pressingly when I start recording an animation, the first object reverts to the default pose and moves the hips really far away and this persists when I stop animating. This happens with or without the character controller.
