Android Splash Screen Stretches
I have followed the directions below to set up an Android splash screen. No matter what option I pick the image always stretches disproportionately. What am I missing? I see that in the Android manuals they suggest 9-patch. Does this work with Unity Player Settings? What should I do?

Thank you
Can you Explain it briefly and if possible post some screen shots of it?
To clarify I am using a 1526 x 2048 image as a splash screen that I applied via "Player Settings" for Android. I have tried using "center", "scale to fit letter boxed", and "scale to fit cropped".
All of these options end up stretching the image more in one direction than the other. The proportion is destroyed.
Is the image being imported and resized? $$anonymous$$aybe it's being converted to a power-of-two texture?

I had the same problem using Unity 4.2. Solution? Used a square image, and it showed OK on every device and orientation...
