Destroying child gameobject of animated parent messes up other child gameobject animations.
The title says it all. I destroy a child gameobject whose animations are associated to the parent animator and the other child gameobjects stop animating and get set onto some random rotations. I realized after some searching that this bug issued by someone else was aldready fixed in a new version of unity here: https://issuetracker.unity3d.com/issues/destroying-animated-objects-children-when-animation-is-playing-messes-up-other-children-animations
Unfortunately, I have access only to Unity 5.6.7f1(yup). Is there a manual way or atleast a good workaround to fix this issue?? Struggling a lot!! Please , I just want to continue making my game! Any help would greatly be appreciated.
