Send a message from unity standalone application to a java application on linux?
Hi, I have a Unity Linux standalone application which i launch using command line arguments which are executed by a java application. What i want to do here is to send a message back to that java application once the unity Linux standalone application is done.
like,
OnApplicationQuit i want to send a message to that java application "abc" so that it can minimize the Unity Linux Standalone app and can continue with it own calculations.
Thanks in advance. :) :)

How are you launching the app from Java? If you use Process proc = Runtime.getRuntime().exec(...) you can just use proc.waitFor() to find out when the called process has ended. If you don't want to wait, you can poll proc.isAlive().
