How to properly use the HDRP Lens Flares
Hello,
I'm trying to use the new HDRP lens flares in the latest Unity versions. I'm using it set up like the example scene (same parameters like example scene also don't help for my issue I'll describe below. I'm using it together with the Physical Sky.
I've set up the Flare on the directional light like the following:
Intensity: 3
Scale: 1
Screen Attenuation Curve: linear 0,1 to 1,0
Occlusion Radius: 200
Sample Count: 32
Occlusion Offset: 9000
Allow off screen: false
(but official demo scene values have same result)
It is looking pretty good at positions around X: 0, Z:0 like the following screenshot is showing:
As you can see the flare is perfectly placed on the sun disc in the sky created by the directional light. However, when I move away from the origin, to X: 4000, Z: 4000 for example, the following is happening:
You can see that the debug view for the occlusion volume and so on is still perfectly placed to the suns correct position and everything - but the lens flare is rendered off center of the sun disc.
Have I missed something or is this a bug in the new lens flare component? Hope you can help me! Thank you!
