Adding Inertia after rotation
Hi everyone!
For the last few hours I've been trying to add inertia to a sphere rotating around another object...
Imagine a ball attached through a rope to a nail rotating around the nail itself: if the rope suddenly disappears, the ball will still move beacause of its inertia I've been trying to replicate this effect in Unity using the "RotateAround" function... The problem is that as soon as the rotation ends, the ball acts as if there's no inertia at all... I've also tried to add a force after the rotation but with no positive effects at all (I know "addTorque" would be ideal, but I need the rotation around an object which is not the ball's centre of mass")
Thanks in advance
