Failed to load 'Assets/Scenes/GameScene.unity' because its serialized file version is higher...

Hello, So I've been working on my game for about 2 months now on the same computer. This night, I go to open it and this happens? Failed to load 'Assets/Scenes/GameScene.unity' because its serialized file version is higher... How is this even possible? I am using the highest version of unity too? This error happened after i made a copy to a usb?

I already tried re-importing all assets, all that does is give me a bunch of mesh error things. This is a school assignment due in 2 days! What do i do?
