Can anybody give me clues on masking a texture in a shader with an animated mask?
Hey folks. I'm currently trying to mask one material on a surface with another material, using an animated texture / image sequence as a mask, eg.
There should be an organic, internal-organ texture which is then masked (as the masking texture grows lighter) with a metallic texture.
I'm only getting started with programming shaders, and I'd like to avoid Shader Graph for a while. I don't suppose anybody could give me a clue on how to start this one?
