How to detect when a 2D joint is broken?

When using 3D physics I can supply an OnJointBreak(float breakForce) function in one of my scripts, which is called whenever a 3D joint attached to the game object is broken. However, this function is not called when using 2D physics and a 2D joint is broken.

How can I detect when a 2D joint is broken?
