Cursor not staying centered to gameobject
Hi all,
I'm working on a medieval castle building game and am having problems with the users mouse not being in the centre of the object the player has selected when they move it around. I've got a raycast going through the player camera to the users mouse point then hitting the plane, where I am placing the "bricks" that are used to build the castles.
However, when the player moves the brick around, the mouse often goes off centre of the brick. The problem is most noticeable when the camera is at a very low angle to the plane that the player is building on. The problem is also made worse if I try to move larger bricks around. What I want to happen is for the users cursor to always be in the centre of the brick, which often doesn't happen. Any ideas or suggestions on how to fix this are very welcome.
