New Unity UI System animation question...
I was informed recently that I should be using the legacy animation system (not Mecanim) with Unity's new UI system. Does that make sense to anyone? The reason I was given was that Mecanim has performance problems and that the legacy system much better. I have little experience with Unity prior to version 4.6 so this suggestion didn't make sense to me.
