Shader/Lighting Problem! Terrain texture looks awful. Please Help
This is how the terrain is looking after applying a simple texture to it. https://gfycat.com/ComplicatedSarcasticCoral New Scene, all I have is the default Directional Light and the RigidBodyFPSDontroller(from the standard assets.) I don't know if it's a shaders problem or a project settings. Please help me,(Had this issue since Unity 5.0 . Are you using the $$anonymous$$aterial: Build In Standard option on the Terrain's Settings tab?
Yes.I've tried both Standard,Legacy Diffuse and Specular and all have pretty much the same result.

I found a fix for it. When adding textures to the terrain I added the same texture to both "Splat" and "Normal" texture. Well my bad..
