How to view certain UI in scene view?
I'm trying to add text for a score and a high score to the "losing screen", which only appears when the player loses. I can see the losing screen in the game view when the game isn't running but it's not visible in scene view. See image:
You can see the "New Text" on scene view which I'm trying to add. Also when I run the game, even tho I've added those New Text's in to the Losing Screen Canvas, I can't see them in game view, but they are now visible in scene view. See image:
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
double check the hierarchy of your canvas: order matters for drawing objects OVER other objects. I suspect the "you lost" image is simply being drawn OVER your text.

Apparently my Main Camera was no longer attached to the canvas so I just placed it back on and everything started working again. Bit weird that it would randomly not be attached but oh well.
