How can I get unity to install when I have tried everything?
I have tried to install the latest version of unity for the past week and it absolutely will not install any version in any way. I used to have the 5.xx version on my computer and it worked fine but when I went to upgrade to 2018, no version under any circumstance will install. I downloaded the hub and it would download the version I wanted, but it would encounter an error when it was installing. I would close the program and reopen it and then it is stuck on installing. I went through my virus software and changed the permissions because I thought that was the issue. It still wouldn't install. I turned off all my virus software. It still wouldn't install. I ran it as an administrator. It still wouldn't install. I checked the permissions on the folders. It still wouldn't install. I downloaded the installer of the specific version without the hub and ran it as a regular user and an administrator. It still wouldn't install. I went to the download archive and downloaded UnitySetup64-2018.2.10f1. When I would try to install it as both a user and an administrator It would give me a message saying "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc00007b)". I do not know what else to do to make this work.
I am running windows 10 pro, 64 gb of ram, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 with 8 gbs of ram.
