code-generated texture compression creates gray texture
I wrote a c# script that generates a texture2d from a color32 array, which works fine until I try to compress the texture. Using Texture2d.Compress() on either quality setting or any of several system supported texture formats for EditorUtility.CompressTexture() leaves the resulting texture a solid gray. Anyone know what could be causing this issue and how to resolve it?

So, the answer seems to be that you have to compress AFTER you apply the texture to the graphics card; please add this order of operations to the doc.
