How can I make the Gameobject fall down when the fixed joint connected body is destroyed?

I make a ball having a fixedjoint connected to a rope (game object). I want the ball fall down when the rope is destroyed. But the ball is hanging in the air. Any suggestions?

Can you show a screenshot of your physical setup und the inspector values of the ball?

Perhaps the rigidbody went to sleep. Try waking it up.

[SOLVED] I insert two fixedjoin components to the rope. One for the world(none) and one for the ball. When I destroy the rope game object the ball fall down. Thanks you for your help.
