how does a splatmap alpha maps work (terrains) etc...
So i've been wanting to know how splat map's work and every thing about alphamap's ive already read the user guide but its not very specific in unity user manual

Also looking for this as I am trying to save/load splatmaps after saving/loading the heightmap of a proc gen terrain
