Pixely Visual Artifacts on editor
I was getting ready to get started with unity for the first time in months and noticed some strange distortions in my scene and game previewers and the GUI around the displayer. I tried a new vanilla project but the problem persists.
Here is a picture of the problem (please note the border of the previewer) http://imgur.com/xrBhLcL
Using Version 5.5.1f1 Using windows 7 and a raedon R9 380
Are you using a beta version or something? 5.3 is the latest official release.
Reinstalled using version 5.3 What I put may have been a typo. $$anonymous$$y problem persists after reinstall.
Ever stumble across an issue like this in the sea of threads?
I have the exact same problem, except I have an R9 380X and this is still not fixed in 5.3.3f2.
Thanks for posting. $$anonymous$$y problem persists as well. $$anonymous$$y ssd with my OS just failed a week ago on the system I was having trouble with. I will be reinstalling the OS and drivers soon so i will get to see if that helps anything.
PS. I am False-wall. Just discovered I have an old account and accidentally logged in with it.
What is your graphics card manufacturer? $$anonymous$$ine is Sapphire, running 16.3.1 Crimson. If you load up unity and don't move the camera, does the image look normal? $$anonymous$$y post here has my screenshots and descibes just about the same problem. I'll stick with this one as it has been seen and replied to.
P.S. Sorry to hear about your computer, I hope you didn't lose anything.

It seems specific to your GPU. It's best to submit an issue via the tracker. The more of you do it the more important, I suppose, the issue will be ranked.

It seems I have fixed the problem myself. I just upgraded to Windows 10 from 7 and the issue went away. I have no idea why this fixed it, but it's gone now.

I saw an identical artifact to this when playing an indie unity game. It went away when I switched to a different resolution. Is there a way to do something similar to this preview window?

Ok. It seems to be an issue with my scene preview resolution. I cant seem to figure out how to change the resolution. Can I someone give me a clue?
