Scene not showing in build
I have a very basic 2 scene setup that should show at the same time. Everything works as expected in the editors game view but in the build only the first scene is showing up. No warnings or errors during the build process. I'm a bloody beginner. Did I mess up my setting? Please help!
How do you get them to start on top of each other in the Editor? Scenes are normally only run simultaneous if you call something like
SceneManager.LoadScene(1, LoadSceneMode.Additive);
I created the scene in the assets-panel and dragged it to the hierarchy. Was marked active if I do not manually unload it. And showed up in the game preview window.
Now I tried the SceneManager.LoadScene(...) method and the build works like the preview. Thanks a lot for the hint! But why does the preview behave different by default? I'm still afraid I messed up something while playing with all the settings. Any idea?
Anyway, I can now move on with my little project and continue to learn. Thanks again!
Don't know why it's different. But usually you have one start scene and go from there. Glad to be of help, good luck!
