Importing a single Animation file from a model exported as x fbx files each containing a part of .Fbx model from maya to unity 3d.
Hello guys, I got a problem,it will be really helpful if someone answered it.What I've got is a model of some machine which has say 4 components in it and it is animated in maya and it works fine and the animation plays if the entire model is imported to unity. But, the problem is it has got a lot of mesh , polys, verts and tris and i read somewhere , instead of exporting the whole model,if we export each part of model i.e. in this case 4 .fbx files it will be good on unity and yes works, but the problem is i'm getting 4 animation files with it. I have to play the animation based on the slider movement which was really easy in previous case where the entire model is imported as a single .Fbx file and one animation file. how can i implement that in the later case i.e. having a 4 .fbx and 4 animation files..................
Please reply me ASAP...........It's Urgent
Thank you :-)
