Example for Text -> Material usage

As my title suggest, Any example exist that demonstrate usage of custom material in Text Unity UI.

I am talking about following text component and I want to assign custom material to it. Please give me some suggestion for it. alt text

So... create a new material and drag it to the $$anonymous$$aterial property? Not sure what you're asking.

Nothing changed in output or distortion of font occur. Either of above 2 condition generated. Following picture represent one of the situation :
