How to rotate camera 90 degrees but still keep control orientation in 2.5d?
I was trying to switch between 4 different cameras around the player. It is a top down 2.5d Zelda styled game. I was wondering if there is an easy way to rotate the directional controls with the camera view.
For example: Start with a North facing camera. Once I switch camera from the north facing camera to the east facing camera, the directional control "up" now moves the character still moves towards the top of the screen.
Currently, when I switch from the North facing camera to any other camera, it will move towards a different side of the screen depending on which camera is active.
For Example: When I change from North facing camera to a South facing camera, the "up" control now moves towards the bottom of the screen instead of the top of the screen.
Is there a simple work around for this?
