The name PreviewEditorWindow does not exist in this current context
Im not sure what I've done wrong, never touched this code and so dont know where the error is coming from please help

I don't do editor scripts, so am not familiar with PreviewEditorWindow, but the first thing that comes to mind is, are you missing a using statement for UnityEditor?
Ok and I guess it's a secret what that script actually is? Unity doesn't have any "default scripts". You might have imported some sort of package. Are you sure that you do not use legacy / outdated scripts in a newer Untiy version? For a start how about telling us what's the name of the script and where is it located in your project?
They're in Library\PackageCache\com.ubity.timeline@1.2.6\editor and then its based of different files after that but that's the backage, they are called \state\WindowState \Window\TimelineWindow \treeview\Timeline\TreeViewGUI

It is an issue with the Timeline package.
I solved it by going to Window => Package Manager => Unity Timeline => open the tab => below, you should find the last verified version (for me 1.1.0), click on it, then, at the button, click on the button "Update to 1.1.0".
