Bug animation transitions, or am I the bug?
Hey guys! I am stumped. This might not be a bug, it might be me. When my character transitions to one of my blend trees while it is between one of the blend state, it will do a slow explosion where the body raises up slowly, the hands drifting up and apart. (which is unlike any of my animations) then snap to the new state. If I extend the transition, the explosion just lengthens.
Here the character is standing normally in one of the idle blend trees. And here the character is transitioning into this state, while the blend parameter is not exactly 1 or 0, exploding.
I should mention that these models are imported from blender, and scaled down some.
Here is my state machine.
Here are the settings on one of my transitions. This one is returning from a triggered animation, which is why it has an exit time. I have tried all sorts of combinations of these settings, to no avail.
I am using Unity 2018.3.0b1.
If any of you have suggestions on how to debug this, or have seen this type of problem before, let me know! I can post some footage too, if anyone is interested but doesn't understand the problem.
For now I think I am just going to round my blend parameter up to 1.0 or down to 0.0 for the duration of the transition.
Thank you for any help or tips!
