How did you celebrate Bunny83?
@Bunny83 - congratulations on 100k, that's an amazing milestone!
:D thanks, but i usually do not celebrate ( not even my birthday :) ). Since i currently have the flu i'm not set for celebration anyways ^^. I think you should have wrote a PM on the forums instead of posting a question ^^.
Do you get paid to give so many answers? I recognize you.
Come work for Unity or become a teacher teaching Unity at schools.
No :) I use Unity mainly in my free time. I once worked for a games company but I have a different program$$anonymous$$g job now, outside the games industry. Business, you know ^^.
I just think, even though Unity has many $$anonymous$$or flaws here and there, it's great engine and C# is just the perfect language. Also I give Unity credit for actually turning the market of AAA engines upside down. Their licence model essentially "forced" others to come up with a similar license to stay relevant.
.
Most other engines are specialized engines. They have actually grown inhouse just as a result of a need for an engine for a certain project. Therefore engines like Unreal are quite focused on FPS. Unity did not evolve out of a game but was designed from ground up as a general purpose engine. This had many advantages but also some downsides. Though Unity has improved alot due to feedback from the industry.
Anyways, I don't have much time for Unity / UnityAnswers lately. Also the quality of questions has heavily degraded. Most of the time I'm just fighting off spammers ^^.
I guess so based on the downvotes, but I never use the forums and I've seen the work you've done here so I would rather recognize it here. There are thousands of users all owing you a word of thanks for the years of effort its taken to reach the milestone. Hope you feel better soon.
