Unity mobile 2D best practices
Hello,
I am fairly new to unity and I would like to ask some questions regarding best practices and performance. I am aiming at mobile 2D development.
How do I handle different resolutions and aspect ratios?
What size assets should I use? Will using large resolution assets affect performance in low resolution devices? Does unity do any extra calculations If I change the scale of a sprite and save it as a prefab?
Feel free to add any advice that I should keep in mind.
