Web Player Loading Time
I have an interactive homepage for our company's website.
So I've have set up a scene with a directional light and a camera, which goes on to create 6 planes at runtime.
This comes out to 613kb with a skybox and 6 textures.
However, the web player ends up taking over 5 mins on anything other than a t3 connection.
I would like to know how normal such behavior is and what I can do to remedy the situation. A homepage must load in less than 20 sec to prevent a loss of users.
The textures are at 512 to 256 resolution, and compressed.
Thanks For any help,
Selali Adobor, General Macro Dynamics
P.S. I have tried to choose streaming, but the is only one scene so it did not help.

Definitely something wrong there, your link crashed google chrome for me. Even if it's slow loading it shouldn't cripple the browser like that. I tried downloading the html and the unity3d file (385$$anonymous$$) to my local hard drive. It popped open quickly in my browser from there and went to a loading bar. About halfway through it gave up and reported "bad file length". Possibly you have a corrupted build? (Or maybe something went wrong during my download?)
Thats happen to me on previous builds, if you give me a sec I'll upload the new build
