How much is downloaded from addressable groups?
I would like to get some clarification about addressable groups that are configured as "remote" with "can change post release" and asset bundle packing "separate". Specifically how much is downloaded in the following scenario.
User downloads the remote addressable group the first time.
An asset is changed within the remote addressable group.
User downloads the remote addressable group again.
My understanding is that the downloading process during step 3 will check the individual asset bundles hashes against the one already downloaded and skip the download if they match. Hence only the asset bundle containing the changed asset will be redownloaded.
Is that assumption correct? Also note than I'm only asking for the scenario where the bundles are packed separately.
