Moderation Queue
@SaraCecilia, there seems to be an issue with a lot of questions going into the moderation queue. There are over 200 questions in the queue as of this writing. I don't believe they can all be attributed to a mod moving them there.
I was going to say the "new users bypass mod queue" somehow got reverted, but looking more, that doesn't seem right. I think this is the same bug from the start, that never went away.
The $$anonymous$$od queue seems to have only Q's asked by someone with 0 rep (some have 20 or more rep, but you can see they did rep-gaining stuff after asking the Q.) BUT $$anonymous$$ain UA also has recent Qs asked by users with 0 rep; with just "Asked" in the activity log, and no "Published." Huh.
But look on the bought side. The people stuck in the mod queue aren't any worse off than before, when everyone was stuck in moderation for 3 days :-)
Yeah, I think there has always been some bug with it. I know many questions were targeted to the Help Room but still ended up in moderation. There's just some underlying thing broken with it.
I noticed that as well and have reported it. Wish there was a way to see if posts were sent there by a moderator or just caught by a filter.

Most of the posts in the moderation queue were made by users who joined the site then posted their first Q's within 45 seconds. I've lowered the limit of time between signing up to the site and posting, which will help with some of these posts.
I've also lowered the limit of time between posting new Q's (it was set to 4 minutes previously.)
Let's see if this clears up some of the bulk.
