adsupport.framework not automatically added in Unity 5
Hello,
We're using projmods to add frameworks to xcode project and we didn't have a problem until recently. Might've started after we upgraded to Unity5. Other frameworks are added just fine, except for AdSupport. Can anyone help?
Note: We're not using UnityAds.
How interesting. I'm trying to sort out the same issue (Unity 5.0.1 patch 1).
I'm using a couple of plugins (Flurry prime31 and Ultimate $$anonymous$$obile) that both try to add this along with a set of other frameworks, all other frameworks are being added as you mention but for some reason adsupport isn't.
If you do get to the bottom of this please post and I'll do the same.
will do. but so far can't find any answer. UnityAds said they also encountered this and will provide a fix. However we do not use UnityAds. Not sure if once they add their fix, it will be included to Unity5 all in all.
Yeah it sounds like a Unity 5 bug. I've reproduced it with two separate plugins. For now I've removed the advertising side so I can at least continue to create cloud builds.
I just updated to Unity 5.1.1f1 and see that AdSupport is added to the project, but not included on the target. Really obnoxious...
