Me Too answers.
I see a lot of "I have this same problem" responses entered as answers instead of comments. It is time consuming to have to go convert to a comment and add a comment about using comments instead of answers, etc...
Do we even want to allow these sort of "me to" things through, comment or not? And if not, should we just reject them outright without bothering saying why?
And again, the ability to reject with a reason right from the moderation page would make this a non-issue.
$$anonymous$$eep in $$anonymous$$d that new users with low amount of karma points cant post comments. Unless this has changed in the last months.
Hmmm.... well then I would vote for just rejecting them outright.
Want to know whats worse than "$$anonymous$$e too"?
When some numpty OP posts a followup/ adds more information in the Answer box!
If baffles my brain. These people are trying to learn something that certainly isnt elementary but yet they have trouble seeing the difference between a question and an answer.
It baffles even more when one considers the sheer numbers of these people.
We could do a "best practices" for how to use UA, including how to write questions that will increase the chance of getting an answer. Here we could include the do's and do not's.
Take inspiration from say: http://www.catb.org/esr/faqs/smart-questions.html
I fear that people are impatient and the latest research craze involves a lot of "skipping until you think its relevant".
We need sheep fences to lead them to the dip.

Posting comments is not regulated by reputation, and if new users don't make the effort to read the User Guide where I clearly explain how and why to use the comment function, they cannot get upset over their "answers" getting rejected without leaving a reason if they are indeed not answers.
