Freeze (lock) FPS position while still able to 'look around'
Hi there.. I have a question... Do you guys know if its possible to freeze parts of the FPS controller or lock it into a certain position, but still be able to use the mouse to look around? Basically after an animation I want to 'lock' the player into a position but still keep the ability to look around (180 degrees)., and then keep this function for x amount of time. I am experimenting with different mechanics at the moment, and I am not sure how to approach this. I am new to unity, but from what I can read it can be achieved through a rigid body? Is there anyone who can shed light on this? For my prototype I am using the standard FPS controller from Unity.
Cheers!
