Unity Web Player for Win 10?
Windows 10 just came out, and while the web player obviously doesn't work with their browser Edge (I found this thread about it here: http://forum.unity3d.com/threads/unity-web-player-and-microsft-edge-browser-on-windows-10.345765/ )
It seems like Windows 10 itself will not even allow Unity Web Player to function when using another browser. I was using it just fine in Chrome yesterday before I upgraded to Win 10, and now neither browser works.
Your main webpage also only lists the download as being for Windows XP/Vista/7/8, and the upper-right "Version of your web player" checker says "not installed", so it's not detecting it at all.
I've reinstalled it several times and can confirm that the very same one that was working for me prior to updating to Win10 is indeed installed.
Is there any plan to make a Win10 version soon?
I'm unable to play my Unity web content in the meantime.
Just a note. This community is run by Unity users, not Unity officials. We don't work for Unity.
I am having the same issue. I have yet to find a solution other than going back to my previous version of windows.
I'm under the impression that Webplayer is being Deprecated in favour of WebGL. I was either told by my editor or I read it in the docs; one of the two.
