Augmented Reality using GPS coordinates
Hii..
I am working on augmented reality and using Vuforia sdk.
I have latitude and longitude of place where i want to place 3d building.
So when i reach to that place i can see that 3d model just like on earth surface.
Reference link : reference link
But i am not getting idea or any tips to implement this. is there any sdk tool available in unity to implement this ? i want some help . Please help me.
Thanks.
do u fixed this problem? Because because I 'm interested in the same question.
Thanks.
There's isn't such thing in Unity, because we need makers as GPS coordinates, so it will most probably in Vuforia SD$$anonymous$$. Just to let you know, I am also working on AR with GPS, since I am only testing it and doing R&D and stuffs, I'll let you know if I found any relevant answers for that. Thanks.
nj4242 did you have any luck yet? Seems there are a few of us that would like to use vuforia with unity for location based (geolocation) type apps. Sure wish Vuforia was less vision-based and more like wikitude, etc.
Hi everyone, Has somebody found any relevant information about GPS-based Augmented Reality? I would be very grateful if someone would share an experience with this. Any help is much appreciated :) Thanks a lot!
What exactly do you need to know? The LocationInfo class already exposes the lat/lng/altitude of the device - you just need to map that to the location of your virtual character.
