GI Stuck on bake indirect
so I'm having an issue where Unity is getting stuck on "bake indirect" in the lower right bar. this is also stopping me from building the project.
Any luck? I'm also currently stuck on bake indirect, which has me on edge as I need this scene done by tomorrow.
Another thing that worries me is the RA$$anonymous$$ usage for the baking job processes hasn't budged ever since it reached job 7, which it is currently stuck on.
i have the same error and it really enois me, is realy want this to stop. i only have 8 object, a giant terrain and 2 lights. it is even stuck there with 4gb of vram and 26 gb of normal ram allocated to unity
The issue of baking getting stuck on "Bake Indirect" has been found and fixed. The fix will be introduced in 5.2b4. Thanks for your reproducers & patience.

Unity 5.3.2f1: Still stuck at 12/16 Bake Indirect | 1 jobs. $$anonymous$$y Precomputed Realtime GI is off and my Indirect Resolution is 1. $$anonymous$$y mesh size in lightmap is small enough to not give any warnings. $$anonymous$$y Default Parameters are Default-LowResolution. I have missed 2 deadlines trying various settings trying to fix it. I wish Unity's Enlighten would just TELL US WHAT'S GOING ON in some kind of log.
Unity 5.3.3f1 sticking at the same place. 12/16 Bake Indirect. It started after I upgraded to 32Gigs of ram from 8Gigs. I can change the precomputed realtime resolution to 1 and it finishes without hanging up.
We are at 5.3.1f and still have the same problem. Is there some settings to get around this?
@Jesper$$anonymous$$ortensen: next time Unity crash i can submit the project through the crash log. It 30GB though.
I got around the problem by baking on another computer. 3 PCs/$$anonymous$$acs out of 4 froze
Unfortunately we can't update Unity right now as we are in the middle of certification. Only opion for us was a workaround.
